Credit Policy
In order to establish an open account with ESCO, you will be required to complete, sign and return an ESCO Credit Application.  If your past credit history is unfavorable, you may be denied open account.  If you have been in business less than five years, a personal guarantee or letter of credit may be requested.  You may also be put on a credit limit until you have established a good credit history with ESCO.  Our terms are NET 30. If not on open account, items will be shipped COD or can be charged on Master Card, Visa, American Express or Discover Card.  A core charge may apply.  Payment in US Funds only.  If payment is not received within 45 DAYS from date of invoice, your account will automatically be placed on Credit Hold until all past due invoices are paid.  Should your account reach 60 days past due, all open invoices must be paid before we can ship any additional orders to you on open account.  If your account is placed on credit hold three times during any 12 month period, your privilege of open account will be revoked and you will be placed on a COD basis only.


Returned Goods Policy
A 15% restocking charge will be assessed on all returned, unused goods.  If returned after 45 days from date of invoice, no credit will be issued.  If a board or part is returned claiming to be D.O.A. and found to work properly, a 15% restocking charge will be assessed.


Freight Policy
All shipments of ESCO remanufactured electronic boards will be returned via UPS Ground and the charges will be prepaid and added to your invoice.  COD shipments will be prepaid and COD charges will be added to your invoice.  Shipments of ESCO manufactured products, cores, supplies or parts will be shipped via UPS Ground and the charges will be prepaid and added to your invoice.


Core Policy
Cores, (when available) will be shipped in advance.  Core exchange charges for ESCO remanufactured electronic boards will be equal to normal repair charges if a rebuildable like for like core is received no later than 45 days from date of invoice.  After 45 days, returned cores will not be accepted and charges that are normally equal to the original equipment manufacturer's full list price will be invoiced to cover replacement.  A 15% restocking fee will be charged for unused cores returned within 45 days.


Warranty Policy
(ESCO Remanufactured Parts)
The following remanufactured equipment is guaranteed under our Limited Warranty from date of installation against any defect during normal use, and will be repaired, No Charge, if returned transportation prepaid, within this period.  Length of warranty for all remanufactured parts is listed throughout the price lists.  Please note that warranty periods vary depending on the type of equipment rebuilt (i.e. 90 days, 6 months, 1 year).  The purchaser's right under our Limited Warranty shall consist solely of requiring ESCO to repair or replace free of charge any defective item, with no allowance for labor or travel costs. This warranty will not apply to any part which has been subject to misuse, improper installation, liquid spills, and damage in shipment or physical abuse. (See conditions of Limited Warranty attached hereto and made a part thereof).


(New ESCO Products)
The ESCO Disconnect  System & Scanners are guaranteed under our Limited Warranty for a period not to exceed one year from date of installation against any defect during normal use, and will be repaired, no charge, if returned transportation prepaid, within this period.  All TVSS & UPS Systems are guaranteed under our Limited Warranty for a period not to exceed two years from date of installation.  The ESCO Cash Drawers are guaranteed under our Limited Warranty for a period not to exceed 6 months from date of installation against any defect during normal use, and will be repaired, no charge, if returned transportation prepaid, within this period.  The ESCO Printers and ESCO Intercoms are guaranteed under our Limited Warranty for a period not to exceed 6 months from date of installation against any defect during normal use, and will be repaired, no charge, if returned transportation prepaid, within this period.  The purchaser's right under our Limited Warranty shall consist solely of requiring ESCO to repair or replace free of charge any defective item, with no allowance for labor or travel costs. This warranty will not apply to any part which has been subject to misuse, improper installation, liquid spills, and damage in shipment or physical abuse

Limited Warranty

  1. Limited Warranty.  We warranty that the product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the period stated. This is from the date of the installation or its total rated life, whichever first occurs.  Within the warranty period we shall repair or replace such products as are returned to us with shipping charges prepaid and which are deemed by us to be defective.  This Limited Warranty will not apply to any product which has been subject to misuse; negligence or accident; misapplied; modified or repaired, attempted to be repaired by unauthorized persons; or improperly installed.

  2. Inspection.  Buyer shall inspect promptly after receipt and shall notify us at our Regional Service Center, supplying the product, in writing of any claims, including claims of breach of Limited Warranty within 30 days after the Buyer discovers or should have discovered the facts upon which the claim is based.  Failure of the Buyer to give written notice of claim within such time period shall be deemed to be a waiver of such claim.

  3. Disclaimer.  The provisions of Paragraph 1 constitute our sole obligations under any warranty, express or implied, and exclude all other remedies, express or implied including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, whether or not purposes or specifications are described herein.  We further disclaim any responsibility or liability whatsoever to the customer of the Buyer or to any person for injury to such person or damage to or loss of property or value caused by any product which has been subjected to misuse; negligence or accident; or misapplied; or repaired or attempted to be repaired by unauthorized persons; or improperly installed.

  4. Limitation of Liability.  Under no circumstances shall the company be liable for any accident, consequential or other damages, loss or expenses arising from any contract entered into by the company and Buyer or to any third party or in connection with the use of, or inability to use our products for any purpose whatsoever.

  5. Collateral Promises.  There are no representations, warranties, or conditions, expressed or implied, statutory or otherwise, except those herein contained and no agreements or waivers collateral hereto shall be binding upon the company unless in writing and signed by both parties and accepted by us at our Regional Service Center supplying the product.

  6. Interpretation.  All rights and liabilities arising out of any contract, limited warranty or claimed breach thereof shall be determined under the Uniform Commercial Code as enacted in the State in which our Regional Service Center resides.
